Language Binding

Introduction

Binding is an API that provides glue code to allow a programming language to use a foreign library or operating system service.

Bindings are wrapper libraries that briedge two programming languages, so that a library written for one language can be used in another language.

Examples

pyobjc for Python

pyobjc is a Python binding for the Objective-C programming language. It allows Python programs to use Objective-C libraries, such as the Cocoa frameworks and AppKit.
